We will be reading Gate at the Stairs, by Lorrie Moore. There are 5 CD's and 20 books currently available from the Contra Costa Library. Lorrie Moore has been described as writing with "poetic precision of language." Gate at the Stairs is a sort of female coming-of-age story. It is Lorrie Moore's third novel. Lisa is scheduled to bring food for our January meeting, Rachel will bring book selections and Brooke will lead our discussion.
